MS Authenticator MFA
To use the authenticator app please follow the below instructions.
- You can register your Microsoft Authenticator app by following this link: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info

- Select ‘Add sign-in method’
Select ‘Authenticator App'
Installing the App
- Follow the instructions on how to download the Microsoft Authenticator App. This can be done in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
- Once downloaded open the app and Press the + icon
- Select 'Add Work or School account'
- Select 'Scan QR Code'
- Scan the QR code on the screen
- Once you have registered the MS Authenticator app you will need to set it as your default sign-in method
Once you’ve set this you can test this by opening an incognito browser and going to Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft (live.com) and try signing in
