How to login/pair to Oak Engage/Pulse app

Setting up the Oak Engage app
Pairing your Pulse account with your tablet device

This article will show you how to successfully 'pair' your Pulse account.


Step 1 - Access  Pulse website on your browser under Incognito mode on your work device.( That can be Ascenti Laptop, Mobile phone, Tablet etc.)

 Type the following web address: " pulse.oak.com " and you should see the below webpage




Step 2 - Login to your Pulse account:


You will need to use the "SIGN IN WITH SSO"

button and enter-in your Username and Password in the following convention.


  • Username: Either your work email address
  • Password: That is your work Microsoft account password that you use for Email, Teams etc. If you are unsure of this, you can reset it

Step 3 - Generate your 'QR Code':


To generate your 'QR Code', you will need to locate the Settings menu from your Profile Picture as in this case:


Then once you are in that menu, you will need to go to Devices: 

And then 'Add Device' to generate the following 'QR code':


Make a note of the code underlined with red which should be showing up now on your display.

Step 4 - Find Oak Engage app on your Tablet.



Step 5 -  Click 'OR USE ALTERNATE METHODS.'

    

Step 6 - Tap on the Paring code

7. Then type in the Site name : pulse.oak.com and the code you made a note earlier, then tap on sign in.



Please note that pulse.oak.com and Oak Engage app are the same. Oak Engage app is the app version of the website.
